Sebastian “Seabas” Steudtner nasceu na Alemanha a 4 de maio de 1985. Em adolescente o seu amor pelo surf trouxe-o ao Havai, onde aprendeu a surfar. Desde 2013 que a Nazaré é a sua casa de inverno e é conhecido pela sua abordagem destemida às ondas gigantes.
Sebastian foi duas vezes vencedor do prémio WSL Big Wave, em 2010 e 2015, e foi o primeiro europeu a ganhar o prémio de maior prestígio no Big Wave Surfing.
Sebastian “Seabas” Steudtner was born in Germany on May 4th 1985. As a teenager his love for surfing brought him to Hawaii were he learned to surf. Since 2013 he calls Nazare his home for the winter. He is notorious for his fearless approach in giant waves.
Sebastian is a 2x winner of the WSL Big Wave Award in 2010 and 2015. He was the first European to win the most prestigious award in Big Wave Surfing.
