Will foi criado em Nova York (EUA) e na última década ganhou reconhecimento mundial ao mais alto nível no surf de ondas grandes. Chegou às finais no Peahi “Jaws” Challenge, em Puerto Escondido Mexico Challenge, no Nelscott Reef Oregon Challenge, terminando no top 10 do WSL Big Wave World Tour, e também foi nomeado para Performance of the Year da Surfine.
Em 2013, Will e seu irmão Cliff chegaram à Nazaré, focados em apanhar ondas grandes na
remada. Em 2015, Garrett McNamara disse: “Will Skudin apanhou uma das maiores ondas na remada que eu já vi, se não a maior!” A paixão e a determinação de Will pela procura de ondas em todo o mundo são incomparáveis; o free surf é o seu amor, mas também teve sucesso no plano competitivo. Will também dirige um dos maiores programas de educação oceânica ao lado de seu irmão Cliff, nos EUA: “SkudinSurf Camps”. Juntos, eles dão continuidade às tradições da família que foram passadas do avô para os pais, e agora para a cultura de surf em Nova York.
Will was raised in New York, USA and in the past decade has gained global recognition at the highest level of big wave surfing. He’s made finals at the Peahi”Jaws” Challenge, the Puerto Escondido Mexico Challenge, Nelscott Reef Oregon Challenge, Finished in top 10 of the WSL Big Wave World Tour and also earned Surfine’s overall Performance of the Year Award nomination.
From 2013-Current, Will and his brother Cliff come to Nazare focused on paddling into big
waves. In 2015, Garrett McNamara said: “Will Skudin caught one of the biggest paddle waves I have ever seen, if not the biggest !” Will’s passion and determination for chasing waves around the world is second to none, free surfing is his love but also has found success competitively.
Will also runs one of the biggest ocean education programs alongside his brother Cliff in the USA “SkudinSurf Camps”. Together they carry on the family traditions that were passed down from their grandfather, parents and now to the future surf culture in New York.
