Nazaré High Performance Surf Center
Naturally, CARSURF is characterized by offering excellent conditions for the development of athletes from sports governed by the Portuguese Surf Federation. However, Nazaré offers optimal conditions for practicing other sports, whether indoor or outdoor. Thus, the Nazaré High Performance Center extends its offer to the most varied sports that the municipality's sports and natural park allows.
This mission is based on the objective of helping high-performance athletes, not only residents but also all those who seek us, to achieve their best sporting results.

The Nazaré High Performance Surf Center is equipped with various equipment for practicing different types of training, namely: Cardiovascular; Strength; Functional and Muscle Recovery.
Cardiovascular Training
It is the ability to perform dynamic exercises, of moderate to high intensity, involving large muscle groups, for extended periods of time.
Strength Training
Strength training involves performing physical exercises that are designed to improve strength and endurance, often associated with weightlifting. It can also incorporate a variety of training techniques such as calisthenics, isometrics and plyometrics.
Functional Training
Functional training is characterized by developing your performance as a whole. In an integrated way and without isolated actions, daily or sporting activities of the individual are performed to improve their physical condition or technical gestures. It is a type of training that can complement weight training.
Muscle Recovery
Physiotherapy equipment and services that allow optimized muscle recovery, as well as the application of strategies aimed at injury prevention, thus enhancing the margin of performance evolution.
