Biography
Alessandro Marcianò was born in Italy, Rome city, in 1971. He started surfing in Banzai (Santa Marinella), where he organized the main national event, Italia Surf Expo, since1999. He was a competitor in small waves and his great passion made him travel around the world. Portugal is his second home. Invited by his friend Garrett McNamara, Alessandro was the first Italian surfing Nazaré giant waves. In his first season (2015) he reached the Italian record surfing a 18mt wave. In 2017 he got nomination for the XXL Big Wave Awards."
