Biography
Will was raised in New York, USA and in the past decade has gained global recognition at the highest level of big wave surfing. He’s made finals at the Peahi”Jaws” Challenge, the Puerto Escondido Mexico Challenge, Nelscott Reef Oregon Challenge, Finished in top 10 of the WSL Big Wave World Tour and also earned Surfine’s overall Performance of the Year Award nomination. From 2013-Current, Will and his brother Cliff come to Nazare focused on paddling into big waves. In 2015, Garrett McNamara said: "Will Skudin caught one of the biggest paddle waves I have ever seen, if not the biggest !" Will’s passion and determination for chasing waves around the world is second to none, free surfing is his love but also has found success competitively. Will also runs one of the biggest ocean education programs alongside his brother Cliff in the USA “SkudinSurf Camps”. Together they carry on the family traditions that were passed down from their grandfather, parents and now to the future surf culture in New York.
